Acupuncture Vs Dry Needling?

Acupuncture relies on thousands of years of history, development and practice. Alot of my colleagues have trained over many thousands of hours over many years to hone their skills.

Dry needling however is a relative simpler system developed off the back of using reactive trigger points for diagnosis and treatment. Often training is delivered over a couple of days mainly to those in the Physical Therapy and Physiotherapy field, although some sports medicine and Chirpractors often use this.

The advantage of acupuncture is that it treats the root cause of diseas and can address many mnore issues than just pain or stiffness in the body.

We personally have no issue with dry needling practice, but we prefer the more complex and highly diverse methods of both Classical, TCM , and Neoclassical acupuncture.
